3. Your Account
Our Service does not require user accounts or registration. We do not maintain login credentials or personal accounts for individual users. This is consistent with AA’s principles of anonymity and privacy.
4. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about AA meetings and resources, we cannot guarantee that all information presented on the Service is always current. 6. Location Services
Our mobile application “AA Edinburgh Where To Find” offers location-based features to help users find nearby meetings and get directions to meeting locations. When enabled, these features:
- Find nearby AA meetings based on your current location
- Provide directions to meeting locations
As explained in our Location Privacy section:
- Location data is stored only on your device
- Your location history is not shared with AA, other users, or third parties
- Disabling this feature stops all location collection immediately
Consistent with AA’s principle of anonymity, your exact location is never linked to your identity in our systems. Normal system access applies as with any app using location services on your device (Apple/Google). You can disable this feature at any time while still using other app features.
7. Analytics and Usage Data
We use analytics tools to improve our Service through feature testing and usage tracking:
- Our website uses Google Analytics to analyze website traffic and usage patterns
- Our mobile application uses PostHog to help us understand how users interact with the app
This helps us understand which features are most valuable to our community. No personal information is shared with external parties beyond anonymous analytics data and event tracking. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
